Improvement-in-Lipid-Profile

We all are aware of the positive physical results of fasting in Ramadan but during fasting many healthy changes are also taking place in the body, one of which is the decrease in serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels. Cholesterol increased concentrations are harmful for the body and have a negative impact on the ones health and well-being. High levels of cholesterol not only increase the inflammation in the body but also play an important role in the plaque formation in the arteries which results in the development of cardiovascular disease such as hypertension, cardiomyopathy, stroke, heart failure.
